National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
NDIS is the National Disability Insurance Scheme, an initiative that was developed to help eligible Australians living with a disability to live independently in the community, utilizing the available services and supports to allow them to reach their goals. The National Disability Insurance Agency or otherwise known as NDIA, runs the NDIS.
If you are an individual, aged between 7 and 64 years of age, born with or live with a disability you may be eligible for the NDIS. Once you apply and become a participant, your goals in life will be addressed and the appropriate funding will be utilised across supports and services.
Depending on what YOU want to achieve and develop in yourself, you can use your NDIS plan to work with service providers or engage with support workers to help in everyday living.

What is the NDIS?
